Blogger Heather Solos' book Home-Ec 101 is the go to bible for the generation of mom's and individuals who didn't have the benefit of a home economics class in high school or who did not bother taking the class. Fortunately I took full advange of my schools home-ec classes and learned how to cook and sew.

Yanni does not disappoint with highly anticipated Truth Of Touch album and tour
The Grammy nominated composer's last album release was his successful 2003 Ethnicity and it explains why fans were so thirsty for music that is not only heartfelt but could also quench the soul.
My first encounter with Yanni was courtesy the PBS when it aired the fundraiser, Yanni Live at the Acropolis. The music video from the show sold over 1 million copies and was second to Michael Jackson's Thriller Video .
Yanni lovers who have waited patiently won't be disappointed by, Truth Of Touch. The superbly imaginative O Luce Che Brilla Nell’Oscurita is an exquisite harmonious masterpiece of sentiment direct from where he performs best, the heart.
Truth Of Touch is by far one of Yanni's greatest work. In our troubled times his work will inspire you to get into a place of tranquil exhilaration!
Yanni kicked off his 40-date North American tour on March 22. The tour will bring the performer to theaters in major cities across the US including Radio City Music Hall in NYC and the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles.

If you don't love food. I know who does, and that is Rick & Bubba.
Rick Burgess and Bill "Bubba" Bussey are two Good ol boys with a nationally syndicated radio show WZZX broadcasted from Birmingham, Alabama.
The two teamed up with Comedy writer Martha Bolten for help turning their fourth venture in the Literary World into another LOL New York Times Best Seller.
When I received a free copy of the book to review, I took it out of the brown cardboard mailer and saw a cover filled with brown crispy grub and not a hint of green except for the single jalapeno pepper topping on a pizza. I thought "Oh God, not another artery clogging gastronomical train wreck".
With great trepidation I began reading through Rick & Bubba’s Big Honkin’ Book of Grub and to my surprise I really liked it. While there aren't a lot of recipes, the book is filled with gastronomical comedic insight that will have you busting a gut instead of a filled gut.
They have a chapter on diets and remind their reader that the first three letters of the word diet, spell "die".
What Rick & Bubba’s Big Honkin’ Book of Grub lacks in the haute cuisine department it more than makes up for it with it's gastric comedy and loyal homage to comfort food.
