April 18-24 is National Cleaning for a Reason Week

Many of us has a female friend or family member who is or has put up a brave battle with cancer. Fighting cancer is difficult enough, but living with it is even tougher, and that's where the Cleaning for a Reason Foundation steps in to take the burden off of household chores from cancer sufferers.

April 18-24 is National Cleaning for a Reason Week and the Cleaning for a Reason foundation, an organization that offers free professional housecleaning, and maid services to improve the lives of women undergoing treatment for cancer - any type of cancer, is raising awareness and funds to help fight this deadly disease. Cleaning For A Reason offers four free cleanings, one per month for four months to all qualified participants.

Anyone who has a female friend or family member undergoing treatment for cancer is invited to log onto to www.cleaningforareason.org to fill out an application online.

Currently the foundation only serves women in need and the only qualification is that the individual in need of service is undergoing treatment for cancer. Part of the application process includes a report from a physician.

Cleaning for a Reason was founded in Lewisville, Texas by Deborah Sardone. Currently there are over 700 plus providers serving both the United States and Canada.

Cleaning for a Reason is always seeking corporate sponsors and donations in an effort to increase the availability and frequency of its services to cancer patients so please give to this worthy cause.

Check to see if they have a participating maid service in your geographical area by clicking the locations tab on our main website.

Click the state in which you reside on the pink U.S. map or if you reside in Canada, click the Canadian map.

Fill out the online application under the cancer patient tab on the main website. Fill in the required information. When you submit, the online process will inform you if a maid service covers your area.

The application process opens at 12noon Central Time Monday through Thursday and accept a maximum of 50 applications each day Monday through Thursday.
